About Basement Waterproofing Caledon

We are a basement waterproofing company based in Caledon Village, at the corner of Hurontario Street and Charleston Sideroad, working across the Town of Caledon. We do one kind of work, keeping water out of basements, and every job starts with finding out where the water comes from.

How we work

What you can expect from us

Diagnosis before any repair

Walls, floor edge, cracks, grading, downspouts, window wells, well and septic. All of it is checked before a repair is named.

Everything in writing

The quote states the walls or fixtures treated, the method, the materials, what is removed and put back, the duration and the price.

All six repairs

Interior and exterior systems, crack injection, sump pumps, weeping tile and window wells, backwater valves. The recommendation is not limited to one method.

The cheap fix, when it is enough

Some wet basements are cured by extending a downspout, cleaning a window well or regrading a bed. When that is the case, the assessment says so.

Rural lots understood

Wells, septic beds, propane tanks and long driveways are part of most Caledon jobs. They are located and planned around, not discovered by the excavator.

Residential work only

Farmhouses, village houses, estate lots, bungalows and subdivision houses: detached, semi-detached and townhouses.

Why Caledon

Houses from three centuries on three kinds of ground

Caledon Village was settled in the 1820s, and the Town still has houses from that era on fieldstone foundations, alongside 1960s bungalows on block and subdivisions poured last year. The ground ranges from fast-draining escarpment gravel to clay that holds water for weeks. A method that is right for one street is wrong for the next, and that is why the assessment comes before the recommendation.

The repairs themselves are well understood. What differs from house to house is which one is needed, and whether the outside of the wall can even be reached on a lot with a septic bed and a well.
